Summary
SEN School Caretaker / Cleaner
Location: Wirral
Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday - 06:30am-10:30am/ 15:30pm - 17:30pm
Pay Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience
About the Role:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker / Cleaner to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school based in Wirral This is a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning of classrooms, toilets, and communal areas
- Light maintenance and general caretaking duties
- Ensuring the school grounds are clean and safe
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Supporting with setting up rooms for activities or events as required
Requirements:
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Previous experience working in a school environment is preferable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
