Summary

Supply Chain Team Lead, Basingstoke, circa £35k + bonus + generous pension and benefits

Please note that this role is a permanent position, but the company is also happy to consider people who are available for contract / interim work at short notice. Your new role
You will lead a team of 3, overseeing and optimising the sales order process from order entry to fulfilment. Working with the Supply Chain Manager, you will contribute to process improvement, as well as ensuring day-to-day operational planning and transactional tasks are completed, supporting and coaching the team as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
Your CV will demonstrate relevant experience and achievements, including team management. You will be highly collaborative, and enjoy working with stakeholders in Engineering / Design / Finance / Customer Service, as well as having direct contact with customers. Experience within an engineering-led manufacturer is particularly useful, due to exposure to engineering change control procedures, and familiarity with technical products / parts / aftermarket support. Experience of Supplier selection and performance monitoring is useful, as well as forecasting of materials and components to support production, purchase requisition creation and the full procurement order process.
You will have strong IT systems skills including ERP / CRM / Excel etc, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and good commercial understanding.
