Your new company
A well-established and innovative engineering firm based in the surrounding area of Taunton is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its collaborative finance team. The company operates within the manufacturing space.
Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, working across multiple currencies and international markets. Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, bank reconciliations, VAT and foreign exchange management, and assisting with audits and compliance. You'll also liaise with suppliers and customers both in the UK and overseas, helping to resolve queries and support credit control.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need strong attention to detail, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets is essential, along with confident communication skills. You should hold an AAT qualification or have equivalent experience in a finance support role.
