Research Fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology
4 months fixed term contract

We have a strong track record for clinical research and clinical trials in electrophysiology and device therapy.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Research Fellow in Electrophysiology to work in an established research role within the Cardiac Research Department at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital for a 4-month fixed term contract.
This post has been designed as a research post for one person over 4 months. The objective will be for the Fellow to continue ongoing mapping studies, support new research studies with the opportunity of developing their own research. Publication of research material and presentations at national and international conferences is expected. The post holder will be a source of knowledge and technical support to the clinical and research teams and it is therefore expected that the post holder will be at a registrar level, already with significant experience of general cardiology and in particular electrophysiology and device therapy. The post holder is also expected to have a hands-on knowledge in using invasive cardiac electrophysiology mapping systems. Experience withtheCardioInsight™ Non-invasive 3D Mapping Systemis desirable. The post provides an ideal opportunity to carry out clinical research and publish in the field whilst consolidating practical experience.
