Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching AssistantYou will play a key role in helping children with additional needs succeed in the classroom by:

Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs

Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt lessons and activities

Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and building strong, trusting relationships

Assisting in the monitoring of progress and planning of targeted interventions

Encouraging independence, resilience, and a love of learning in every pupil
Who This Role is Ideal ForWe’re looking for graduates who:

Hold a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, English, Maths, or a related subject

Are passionate about helping children with special educational needs
-
Are calm, patient, and empathetic in their approach

Possess strong communication and collaboration skills
-
May have previous experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or volunteering)
