Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly & Manufacturing: Assemble aluminium frames for bifolding doors, windows, and other systems, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and drill aluminium profiles and other components for bespoke door systems.
Fitting: Install seals, locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware and glazed units onto the frames.
Machine Operation: Operate machinery, including saws and CNC machines, to produce components for the doors.
Technical Drawings: Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to bring designs to life.
Quality Control: Conduct inspections on finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards and specifications.
Workplace Management: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes and resolve any production issues.
Stock Management: Manage and track materials for production using online stock systems.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with cutting, drilling, and assembling aluminium profiles.
Basic mathematics skills for measurements and calculations.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Beneficial Experience:
Experience with CNC machinery is often a plus.
Knowledge of different aluminium profile systems is advantageous.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
