Summary
1. To maintain a high standard of care for every child attending Honey Bees Staff Day Nursery. 2. To be aware of all the needs of the children who attend the nursery and encourage their development in every area. 3. To organise and plan activities, taking in to account the childrens individual interests, needs and developmental requirements. Ensure the childrens educational needs are being met within relation to the Early Years Curriculum guidance. 4. Oversee the planning and developmental progress of all the children within your group room, ensuring Key Workers maintain up to date records for all areas of their key childrens development. 5. Provide supervision and support to the practitioners working within your room and the setting as required. 6. To assist in the day to day management of the Staff Nursery where necessary. This may include providing budgetary and statistical information and other reports as required. 7. Regularly update the Nursery Manager on the childrens development and staff progress, highlighting any concerns you may have. 8. To produce reports for childcare and work experience students as required. Please refer to the attached job description and specification for more information.
