Summary


Are you a qualified Enhanced Care Practitioner, currently undertaking your ECP course or looking for a new exciting challenge?

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join the advanced practice nursing team to support the colorectal surgical team with the management of patients on a faster diagnosis pathway (FDS). The role will also include supporting The Colorectal Enhanced Recovery (ERP) Pathway.

You will need to demonstrate the necessary skills to support the management of patients on an FDS Colorectal pathway.

The service is currently Monday-Friday.

Please note the following

This post is for 1x 37.5hrs permanent position

If you are a qualified ECP, you will be offered a band 7 position

If you are currently a trainee ECP, we welcome your application. If you are successful, we will offer you a band 6 position, and on completion of the course you will be upgraded to a band 7 as hospital policy.

For applicants who want to commence their career in advanced practice this post comes with funding for the PG Cert ECP Apprenticeship course. If successful you will be offered a band 6 ECP post. On completion of the course you will be upgraded to a band 7 as hospital policy.



Supporting the ACP Team with the Colorectal Fast Track Service.

Assessing patients in a telephone clinic, requesting investigations and acting on the results.

Communicating with the ACP Team Consultant Colleagues and Primary Care Colleagues

Supporting patients with the Enhanced Recovery Programme
