Summary
The purpose of the role is to:
• to assist in ensuring that online information, advice and assistance is available, up to date and meets the identified needs of service users to enable them to independently access appropriate support in their communities
• to maximise the digital presence of the team, promoting the use of digital platforms to connect individuals with appropriate organisations and professionals across Ceredigion
• to assist in the planning, developing and run interventions that promote good outcomes that will increase safety and resilience of service users.
On a day to day basis you will:
• assist ensuring that online information advice and assistance is up to date and relevant in order meets the identified needs of service users
• be responsible for promoting and developing use of Dewis and other digital platforms by individuals, organisations and professionals
• assist in developing and carrying out specific programs of work with service users on a 1-1 or group basis working alongside other professionals and agencies, particularly within the digital world
• assist in preparing reports, publicity materials, other documents and social media posts and documents when required
We are looking to recruit an individual who has:
• excellent interpersonal skills required, with an ability to effectively engage with people
• excellent IT skills across a range of systems and tools, e.g. social care client database, e-mail, internet based learning programs and Microsoft applications
• work constructively as part of a team and on own initiative
In addition to the above, we require an individual with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. A successful applicant without the required Welsh language skill will be fully supported to reach the desired standard within two years of appointment.
