Summary
Your new company
Hays Recruitment are working with a primary school in Sefton that are looking for a full-time, long-term early years teaching assistant to join their team. This will start as soon as possible and, if all goes well, will be for the full academic year.
Your new role
This role involves working in the nursery 1:1 with a 2-year-old pupil. The pupil is non-verbal and has SEN needs, as well as some behavioural needs. You will be supporting the pupil within the nursery room.
Working hours - 08:30-15:30
Start date - ASAP
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need a Full RTW and a DBS on the update service or documents to apply for one, as well as:
- A Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working with nursery-age children
- Previous experience working with pupils with SEN needs (non-verbal)
- Knowledge of safeguarding.
