Summary

MIG/MAG/Structural Welders – Major Steel Bridge Fabrication Workshop - Bolton

Location: Severfield Commercial & Industrial, Watson House, Lostock Lane, Lostock, Horwich, Bolton, Lancashire, BL6 4BL

Start Date: 6th October 2025 (or sooner if available)
End Date: April 2026

We are currently recruiting Multiple Experienced Structural Welders to join a Major Steel Bridge Fabrication Works

Key Details:

• Project: Steel Bridge Fabrication Workshop - Structural Welding

  
  

• Hours:

  • Days: Monday–Thursday: 07:00–17:00

    
    

  • Friday: 07:00–12:00

    
    

  • Saturday Overtime Available

    
    

  • Approx. 50+ hours per week

    
    
    Pay Rates & Allowances:

    • PAYE Rate: £26.50 per hour

      
      

    • Accommodation Allowance: £52 per day per shift

      
      

    • Overtime Rates:

      
      

    • £26.50 first 10 hours

      
      

    • 1.5x after 10 hours Monday-Friday

      
      

    • 1.5x first 4 hours Saturday

      
      

    • 2x after 4 hours Saturday

      
      

    • 2x Sunday

      
      Requirements:

      • Proven experience as a MIG/MAG/Structural Welder on large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects (Full CV must be provided to show revelant expereince)

        
        

      • Qualifications in one or more of the following:

        • BS EN ISO 9606-1 135 welding (e.g., WPS 135/FW/1 & 2 for FW – Fillet Welds)

          
          

        • ISO 9606-1 135/138 welding (e.g., WPS 135/BW/1 for BW – Butt Welds)

          
          
          

        • Must pass an initial weld test (full weld test required when starting work.
