Summary

Deputy Nurse Manager

Salary: £44,500

40 Hours per week

As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service. You’ll play a key role in leading the clinical team, maintaining high standards of care, and supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort, and purpose.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse qualification (NMC Pin required).
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead Nurse, Deputy Manager, or similar senior nursing role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care team.
  • Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with CQC regulations.
  • Work with the Home Manager to maintain excellent standards of governance and compliance.
  • Act as a role model for best practice in nursing care, particularly around dementia support.
  • Support with staff development, supervision, and training.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
