Summary

Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit an experienced, passionate and solution focused Recovery Worker as part of our Lambeth Consortium. The Lambeth consortium is led by South London & Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM) and delivered in partnership with Phoenix Futures; We Are with You and Way Through. The service is for Lambeth residents aged 18+ looking for support with their drug or alcohol misuse. It is a vibrant place to work, and this role sits within a multi-disciplinary team. Based in the heart of Brixton we are easily accessible by the tube, bus routes and overground.

You will:

Manage a caseload of clients – ensuring that all interventions, along with other recording requirements are met.
Develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with clients and partner agencies to ensure goals are met and reviewed
Formulate and review detailed risk management plans with clients and partner agencies to ensure risks are recorded and monitored effectively.
Work closely with other teams in the community and in the Lambeth Consortium to ensure that all relevant support options are discussed and referrals made to appropriate services/ clinicians when required.
You will support clients through treatment providing a variety of psychosocial interventions.
Full training will be given to use the relevant IT systems at the consortium. We use EPJS as the case management system, so any experience of using that system will be an advantage.

About You

As a Recovery worker you will have knowledge of recovery, care planning and relapse prevention activities and will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external agencies.

Essential criteria: -

You will have recent experience working directly with people affected by substance use, either in a treatment service, Supported housing or criminal justice setting.
As an individual, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can work on their own initiative, but more importantly, as part of a team.
You will need good communication and organisational skills.
Successful candidates will be dynamic and forward thinking.
This role is based on a model where you will work 100% of your time onsite at Lorraine Hewett House in Brixton. Hours of work are 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

Late clinic is on Tuesdays from 17:00 - 19:00. This is covered on a rota basis, time off in lieu is given for the additional 2 hours to be arranged with your manager.

A full working week is 37.5 hours.
