Summary
Provide routine and urgent GP consultations, face-to-face, by telephone and online. Undertake clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatments, prescribing, and referrals as appropriate. Contribute to the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, and preventative care. Participate in the duty doctor rota and provide home visits when clinically required. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff, to deliver safe and effective care. Support practice achievement of QOF, IIF, enhanced services, and other contractual requirements. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using the practice clinical system. Engage in clinical audit, significant event analysis, and other quality improvement activities. Take part in practice meetings and contribute to service development. Maintain GMC registration, undertake CPD, and meet appraisal and revalidation requirements. Adhere to safeguarding procedures for vulnerable adults and children.
