Summary
Are you a sports graduate looking to gain classroom experience before teacher training?
Do you have a background in sports coaching, and the resilience and confidence to step into a new challenge?
Quokka Education is looking for versatile and composed Cover Supervisors to support students in our partner secondary schools in Basingstoke. If you've got a can-do attitude and the presence to lead a classroom, we want to hear from you.
No experience? No problem. We'll give you the tools and training to get started.

Your first 90 days as a Cover Supervisor
- Day 1-30: Step into classrooms with confidence, follow routines, and make a positive first impression.
- By 60 days: Become a trusted cover supervisor - confident with different year groups and requested back by local schools.
- By 90 days: Establish yourself as the go-to cover supervisor in your area, leading lessons independently and building your reputation.
Who we're looking for
We're particularly keen to hear from:
- Sports graduates (or those with a related degree)
- People with a background in sports coaching or youth leadership
- Resilient individuals who can bring confidence, adaptability, and a positive presence to the classroom
This role is especially suited to graduates considering teacher training and wanting to gain valuable classroom experience before starting their PGCE or QTS route.

- Pay: From £115 per day via PAYE
