School Barber - SEMH Interventions ✨
Location: Tower Hamlets
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a skilled barber with a passion for mentoring young people?
We are looking for a School Barber to join our team and deliver bespoke interventions for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to use your barbering expertise as a tool to build trust, boost confidence, and create safe spaces for positive conversations with students.

What you'll do:

Provide barbering and grooming sessions for pupils in a safe, supportive environment.

Use 1:1 and small group sessions as an intervention strategy to support students with SEMH needs.

Build strong, positive relationships to encourage self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.

Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to track progress and outcomes.

What we're looking for:

Qualified and experienced barber (Level 2/3 or equivalent).

Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs.

Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils.

A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
