Role Overview – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

• Work with pupils aged 6–16 with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and moderate learning difficulties.
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support, both academically and emotionally.
• Motivate and encourage students to build confidence, independence, and active participation.
• Support class teachers in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Candidate Profile - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

• Degree (2:2 or above) – Psychology, Education, or related fields are especially relevant

• Experience in SEN, youth mentoring, or similar roles is beneficial but not required
