Summary
The Croft, a family run business, is located in the heart of Normanton in Wakefield, with on-site parking and close to local amenities.
Do you have the experience, skills and creativity to ensure that each of our residents is active and interested in the daily life of the home?
In the role of Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will create an activities programme that keeps our residents active and happy. A Wellbeing Co-ordinator understands the importance of injecting fun into our residents’ daily lives and can work alongside our care assistants in providing this. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to lead others in group, and individual activities. You will also be expected to perform light kitchen duties as required.
Role Specifics:
• 32 hours per week, 4 days per week. (On a rota basis which includes some weekends)
• Immediate start (subject to successful DBS check)
Essential Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• To possess good manners and have a flexible approach/attitude
• An ability to keep simple records
• To be mobile in order to carry out physical tasks required in the role
• To ensure the dignity of our service users at all times
Desirable skills:
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred - or previous experience in a care giving environment.
