Summary
Yard Person Vacancy – Join Our Team!
Location: John Luffman Trading Ltd Depot, A38 between Wellington & Tiverton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
We’re looking for a self-motivated Yard Person to join our hardworking team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. Previous experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and hazard-free
• Following all Health & Safety procedures on site
• General maintenance including hedging, strimming, and weeding
• Manufacturing concrete lego blocks
• Loading and bagging materials
• Accepting and offloading deliveries
• Stock-taking
• Operating forklift/telehandler (training can be provided if needed)
What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
