What exactly will you be doing?
As a Partner Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of training provider and employer partners. Acting as the primary point of contact, you’ll build strong, lasting relationships that drive engagement, satisfaction, and commercial growth.
You will use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure our partners have the tools and support they need to succeed. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in strengthening AAT’s presence and impact across the UK.
Major objectives
Your major objectives will include:
Managing the full partner lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive and productive experience.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across your portfolio.
Monitoring performance metrics and providing regular reporting on engagement, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Identifying and mitigating risks and supporting partners at risk of withdrawal.
Collaborating with internal teams to support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement.
Representing AAT at local events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to drive brand advocacy.
Developing long-term account plans and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion.
Staying informed on market trends, competitor activity, and changes in the education and professional development sectors.
What are we looking for?
Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
A customer-centric mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the education or professional services sector.
Financial acumen and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
Knowledge of the education and training sector, and ideally the funding/apprenticeship landscape.
Hold a valid UK Driving license and access to suitable car for regional travel.
Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
