Essential Requirements:



Diploma in Surveying, Property, or Maintenance Level 3.
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS or CIOB).
Proven knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and relevant regulations.
Strong understanding of building construction, health & safety, and compliance standards.
Experience in managing contractors and day-to-day repairs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prepare technical reports and manage small projects.
Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.





The Role:



Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their team. You will be responsible for pre/post-inspection, reporting, and overseeing responsive repairs, void works, and cyclical repairs. You will manage contractors, ensuring works are completed to budget and quality standards while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:



Conduct inspections, technical surveys, and prepare reports.
Manage insurance claims and complex repair works.
Oversee the delivery of major and complex works, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
Coordinate void property works to minimise rental loss.
Monitor and control budgets, ensuring value for money and accurate spend tracking.
Maintain strong relationships with contractors, residents, and stakeholders.
