Relief Youth Worker, Pointers Drop in Centre, Isle of Lewis
£15.12 per hour, inclusive of £1.48 per hour Distant Islands Allowance

Relief Youth Workers are sought to work with young people and volunteers within Pointers Drop-In Centre. This would involve developing relationships, identifying needs and responding to those needs. Assisting in planning and to deliver and evaluate structured youth work sessions and youth awards.

You will have proven experience of working with young people, have the ability to set up and supervise group sessions, and have knowledge of health and safety and child protection implications for working with young people. The flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children (Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme - mygov.scot).
