- 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Fixed term contract, 24 months
- Grade 5: £33,699 - £37,280

Then this role is for you – NFRS is looking for an organised and enthusiastic trainer to take the lead in delivering and managing our Fire Safety qualifications. These nationally recognised qualifications equip individuals with the essential knowledge they need to keep our communities safe. Working with our Fire Protection team, as well as experts in the field, the successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to join an effective and supportive team and take ownership of our vital training programme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver Level 3i and Level 3 Fire Safety qualifications
- Assist in the development of CPD to support the ongoing competence of staff
- Assist in the development and production of training packages and aids
- Undertake assessments and mentor candidates who are working towards the completion of the qualifications
- Support both internal and external quality assurance activities
- Provide an internal assurance function to the Service, ensuring that learners are making progress towards the completion of qualifications
Experience/Qualification
- Experience in creating, developing, and delivering training packages to both groups and individuals
- Ability to interpret, simplify, and disseminate information to others
- An understanding of Microsoft Office programs
- Awareness of the Equality Act
- Hold a driving licence (adjustments will be discussed with disabled applicants if required)
