Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate BANK PAEDIATRIC NURSE to join our team in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate excellent clinical skills as well as being dynamic and able to work on own their own initiative. Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is a must. Paediatric nurses would be preferred as this particular role is with a young child with highly complex needs, however nurses with extensive experience would also be suitable.
Duties of the BANK PAEDIATRIC NURSE role include:
o Supporting clients with waking night shifts and days where needed
o Working in partnership with professionals
o Maintaining and adhering to all CQC guidelines for a Safe, Effective, Caring, Response and Well-lead service.
Key skills for this BANK PAEDIATRIC NURSE :
o Registered nurse with active PIN
o Must have recent hands-on tracheostomy experience
o Must have ventilator experience
o Must be trained and competent in IM Injections
o Leadership and motivational skills
o Attention to detail.
o Creativity
o Negotiating skills
o Excellent communication skills
o The ability to build corporate relationships
o Strategic mindset
o Ability to think outside of the box
o Must be ok with dogs as client has a big dog
HAVE A BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE IN COMPLEX NURSING SKILLS I.E.
o Tracheostomy care
o Gastrostomy care
o Complex epilepsy (further training will be giving)
