Falkirk Council is looking to recruit Support for Learning Assistants for Easter Carmuirs Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.

The post will be based within the Additional Support Centre (ASC) at Easter Carmuirs Primary School. Easter Carmuirs ASC is a stage 4 provision supporting 12 children across two classes. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team. In this role, you will provide tailored support for pupils whose needs arise from significant social and communication difficulties, including those with a diagnosis of Autism. Working closely with colleagues, you will help children who experience a wide range of social, emotional and behavioural needs, supporting them to thrive in school.

You will bring excellent communication skills, patience and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Successful applicants will also provide personal care for pupils with additional support needs - including changing, dressing and toileting - while promoting independence, dignity, safety and comfort at all times.

There are 4 posts available:

3x 30 hours TT Permanent

1x 25 hours TT Temporary until June 2026

Working patterns will be Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
