Summary

We're looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks teamfor our Severn Trent contract.



Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire or Hatton, Warwickshire

Hours: 40 Hours per week



We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.



What will you be responsible for?

As a Streetworks Coordinator, you'll be working within the Severn Trent team, supporting planning, coordinating, and monitoring street and highway work to ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements, to minimizing disruption to the public, and the overall delivery of the scheme. Supporting the Kier management by consulting with the client and local authorities with all aspects of conflict/complaints resolution. Plan, liaise, and coordinate all aspects of highways defects.

Your day to day will include:

-Understanding the street works legislation relating to New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004

-Full understanding of Street Works compliance reports and implications from none-compliance

-Adherence to tight deadlines and prioritising workload

-Issuing of reports to the business to help avoid notice overruns.

-Processing and monitoring of Traffic Management Applications.



What are we looking for?

This role of Streetworks Coordinator is great for you if:

-Knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004

-Experienced in Traffic Management applications, processed within set time scales set by the Highway Authority - 100%

-To be able to work effectively with all levels of the business and external 3rd parties.
