Summary

We are looking for an outstanding Activities Coordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care.

You’ll be working 40 hours per week at Cygnet Acer Clinic. This roles working hours are over a mixed pattern as set out below.

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, (9AM – 5PM). Every 3rd week you will work three weekdays (instead of five), followed by Saturday and Sunday.

Cygnet Acer Clinic is a 28 bed service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs or acute mental health needs.

Care is provided in a therapeutic environment, with a level of security matched to individual needs. The aim of the treatment, rehabilitation and re-socialisation programme is to prepare the people in our care either for transfer to conditions of lesser security, or for a life in the community.

  • Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our care
  • Provide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional support
  • Ensure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activities
  • Supervise, oversee & develop colleagues
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events
