We are looking for an experienced HSEQ Consultant to join our team, working closely with both client and ISS stakeholders to develop and deliver HSEQ plans that drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of shared ownership.

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support, mentoring, and governance to ensure HSEQ management is not only maintained but continually enhanced across the account.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and proactively manage an account-specific HSEQ plan to drive continuous improvement
Support, coach and mentor operational teams to enhance HSEQ focus and shared ownership
Ensure adherence to the ISS UK Integrated Management System and client-specific processes
Embed ISS HSEQ programmes such as SafeChoice and Near Hits, supporting UK&I HSEQ strategy delivery
Support incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Drive environmental compliance, including the Aspects and Impacts process
Implement and manage internal audit and inspection programmes across the account
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar HSEQ role with strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental processes and legislation
Proven background in Facilities Management, ideally operating as an HSEQ consultant
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 with relevant quality-related qualifications such as Internal Auditor
Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, NVQ Level 5 or equivalent, with willingness to progress towards NEBOSH National Diploma
Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence and build effective relationships
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, reactive environment while driving positive change
Clear understanding of the link between operational success and compliance
