Summary


The Ambulatory Emergency Care (AEC) at Whipps Cross Hospital is a fast pace emergency service for patients on the ambulatory care pathway directly from the Emergency Department as well as GP referrals. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and hardworking individual who has the experience and knowledge to complement the Senior nursing team in the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit.

To deputise for the senior charge nurse/senior sister in his or her absence when necessary.

To ensure continuity and high standards of care including sharing ideas, information and feedback in order to empower patients and members of the interdisciplinary team.
To take proactive role in producing accurate and complete records of activities and communications consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
Doing assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of care and the setting of standards on a shift. To deputise for the senior charge nurse/senior sister in his or her absence when necessary.
