Job Advert
Torus is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Support to join our Assets Team. As a key member of the team, you will be
expected to deliver professional support across a range of property management duties, including administration for Aids and
Adaptations such as programme works, surveys, work orders, data collection, and case management.
The post will be based in Warrington but travel to our other locations will be required.
What you’ll be doing:
* Provide comprehensive support to a multi-disciplinary technical team across pre-planned and responsive repairs, maintenance,
empty properties, compliance, planning, and investment activities.
* Ensure work is delivered to agreed standards and timescales, maintaining robust evidence and audit trails.
* Use technical expertise to collect, manage, and update data within asset, housing, and financial management systems.
* Monitor task progress, adopting a proactive approach to deliver a “right first time” service for internal and external
customers.
* Support the Asset team in improving processes and software to drive efficiency.
* Contribute to the operational plan and help deliver an outstanding service aligned with the Torus vision and values.
* Act as a champion for change, innovation, continuous improvement, value for money, and risk management.
* Take ownership of personal and professional development.
* Promote a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture built on trust, respect, and integrity.
What we’re looking for:
* Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4 or above in at least Mathematics and English, or able to demonstrate an equivalent
level of knowledge gained through extensive and relevant experience within an applicable work function.
* Demonstrable experience of working in a business support function within a technical working environment.
* Demonstrates a high level of skill in business support gained through extensive knowledge and relevant experience
* A proven track record in delivering a business support service within a property maintenance environment.
* An understanding of health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance and construction projects.
* Demonstrates the ability to effectively develop working relationships and partnerships.
* Ability to engage with staff, peers, board members, tenants and external partners to build relationships based on honesty,
trust, mutual respect and integrity to inspire confidence and respect
Interview Process:
The interview will be competency-based, assessing your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and team collaboration.
Interviews will take place week commencing 13th October 2025.
