We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team, supporting ISS’s vision of becoming the world’s greatest service organisation by delivering consistent, world-class building maintenance.​

In this role, you will provide electrical and building services maintenance across a portfolio of client properties, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance of critical systems.

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will undertake a wide range of activities, from scheduled PPM and reactive repairs to installation, inspection, and compliance monitoring.​

With a strong electrical bias, you will ensure all work meets statutory regulations and client requirements, while consistently delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the highest Health & Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled electrical PPM and reactive tasks raised via the helpdesk, ensuring timely completion and exceeding customer expectations.

Undertake building services maintenance across electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and fabric systems.

Provide call-out response as part of a rota, delivering effective on-site support.

Oversee contractor activity, ensuring compliance with permits to work and company standards.

Verify electrical equipment performance against specification, maintaining high operational standards.

Evaluate equipment performance and ensure all servicing and maintenance is delivered to contract requirements.

Maintain proactive client communication, escalating concerns where appropriate.

Accurately complete records, documentation, and administration on time.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and COSHH.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Qualifications:

City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3 and NVQ 2356 AM2, OR

City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and NVQ 2356 AM2, OR

City & Guilds 236/2360 Electrical Installations Parts 1 & 2.

City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018), preferably with A2 Amendment.

Experience & Skills:

Significant experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, repairs, installation, and testing.

Proven track record in both reactive and planned maintenance within commercial FM/building services.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, delivering to high professional standards.
