Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: To understand the operation and maintain the Building and Engineering Services and systems a high standard and utilised in a safe and efficient manner. To develop rapport and empathy with other staff groups, patients and visitors where this is necessary to support job completion. There is a need for good communication skills which will assist the department to gain the cooperation of others and maintain good relations, for instance to encourage the workforce to take up new equipment familiarisation, learning physical skills on the job or new work practises. Supervise and undertake breakdowns of service equipment, and see that testing, maintenance, fault diagnoses are carried out appropriately, timely and that repairs to all Building or engineering services plant and equipment are safe.
