Summary
There is an expectation that the post holders provide emergency cover and weekend working. Out-of-hours endoscopy is shared equally by the gastroenterologists. Weekend cover will entail cover of existing in-patients and assistance in the management of acutely unwell patients with gastrointestinal problems.
