Hours: 10-17 hours per week

We’re looking for a flexible, reliable, good-humoured self-employed PA/support worker to help a 67-year-old man with a brain injury live independently and get the best out of life.
The role is a mix of companionship and practical support: short weekday visits, a weekly shop, occasional Sunday outings, light housework, prompting medication, safe meal preparation, and encouragement with mobility, cooking, and gardening.
He enjoys football and a bit of craic, but needs patience, clear communication, and gentle reminders.
You’ll need:
A caring, flexible approach and plenty of patience
Experience supporting someone with communication or mobility needs
Confidence in supporting medication routines and safe eating/drinking
Ability to work on a self-employed basis (responsible for own tax, NI, and insurance)
If you’re practical, dependable, and enjoy helping someone stay independent, this could be a great fit.
Interviews: 27th October
At the time of starting their employment, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the U.K.
