Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our supportive and dedicated team at April Court

April Court is a residential home that provides care and support for adults with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our dedicated, friendly, innovative, and welcoming team.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will support our residents to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach, working to ensure the service and activities are varied and meet residents’ needs.

What you’ll do

  • Provide care and support that promotes client choice and independence.
  • Coordinate and lead the support staff and support with personal care as required
  • Ensure that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
  • Support residents to take their prescribed medication
  • Work within the Gold Standards Framework to ensure quality care

What you need

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Certificate or be prepared to work towards a qualification.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Community Care and Safeguarding legislation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of CQC standards
  • Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • An understanding of health and safety requirements
  • A full current UK driving licence with the use of a car and be willing to drive the home’s vehicles.

Part-time – 14 hours per week
