The Admission and Day Case Unit (ADCU) is a friendly, forward-thinking 20-bedded unit dedicated to both day cases and inpatient admissions. Our state-of-the-art facility includes 8 consultation rooms and a comfortable 20-chair waiting area, all designed to support a smooth, patient-centred experience.
We care for a diverse range of patients, including those undergoing joint replacements, spinal procedures, oncology treatments, and small joint surgeries. Our patients range in age from 17 to the elderly, and we’re proud to play a vital role in helping them on their journey to better mobility and improved quality of life.

Safe care of pre and post operative patients recovering from a variety of orthopaedic surgeries. Appropriate escalation of concern.

Co-ordinating care with ward based therapy teams. Facilitating ward based investigations and procedures.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to achieve best patient outcomes.
