Summary
Regional Clinical Development Nurse - RMN - Hospitals
Location: Mix of remote work and travel to Hospitals in Hull,Stockport, Billingham, Mansfield and Waltham Abbey
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: £55,000 to £60,000 plus £6500 car allowance
The Role
As a Regional Clinical Development Nurse, you’ll lead, support, and continuously improve clinical governance and the quality of care across six Mental Health Hospitals in England.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting hospital performance and ensuring the highest clinical standards
- Reviewing monthly clinical governance KPIs and identifying practical improvement strategies
- Working with Managing Directors, senior clinical staff, and improvement specialists to implement action plans
- Organising training, supporting recruitment of senior clinical staff, and leading clinical investigations
- Travelling regularly between sites to provide hands-on leadership and guidance
Essential Criteria
- Current NMC registration (RMN)
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience working in a Mental Health Hospital environment
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical and results-driven, with the ability to implement action plans effectively
- Willingness to travel regularly across multiple sites
