Mae swydd rhan amser wedi codi ar gyfer unrhyw athro nofio lefel 2 brwdfrydig sydd ag angerdd dros ddysgu gwersi nofio ysgolion cynradd ac oedolion nerfus, yn enwedig drwy raglen dysgu nofio Nofio Cymru.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn ffurfio rhan o dîm addysgu nofio sy’n ffynnu, gan helpu nofwyr i ddysgu drwy ddatblygu.

Eich prif rôl fydd addysgu gwersi nofio ar ôl ysgol a bore Sadwrn - gan ysbrydoli plant i nofio trwy wersi hwyliog ac arloesol tra’n darparu safonau ardderchog o ofal cwsmeriaid.

Gwersi nofio ar ôl ysgol a gwersi nofio addysgiadol gan ddilyn rhaglen Dysgu Nofio gan Nofio Cymru. Bydd athrawon nofio hefyd yn cyfrannu tuag at hyrwyddo clybiau nofio lleol a llwybr perfformiad Nofio Conwy

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn gwella eu sgiliau a nodweddion trwy:

Fynychu hyfforddiant datblygiad proffesiynol parhaus
Astudio cyrsiau nofio ychwanegol megis rhiant a babi a pholo dŵr
Mynychu cyfarfodydd athrawon nofio bob mis
Cyrsiau diogelu
Mae’r gallu i ddangos profiad o weithio o fewn amgylchedd tîm a gweithio ar eich liwt eich hun yn fanteisiol.

Mae sgiliau cyfathrebu da yn Saesneg yn hanfodol ac yn ddymunol yn Gymraeg, ynghyd ag agwedd gyfeillgar gadarnhaol.

Gofynnir i ymgeiswyr fynychu cyfweliad ffurfiol ac efallai bydd angen mynychu asesiad ymarferol.

Work base: Llandudno Swim Centre

A part time position has arisen for any enthusiastic level 2 swimming teacher with a passion for teaching, especially through Swim Wales’ learn to swim programme, primary school swimming lessons and nervous adults.

The successful applicant will form part of a thriving swimming teaching team helping swimmers to learn through their development and progression.

Your main role will be to teach after school and Saturday morning swimming lessons - inspiring children to swim through fun and innovative lessons whilst delivering excellent standards of customer care.

Afterschool swimming lessons and educational swimming lessons follow Swim Wales’ Learn-to-Swim programme. Swimming teachers will also contribute towards and actively promote, local swimming clubs and Swim Conwy’s performance pathway.

The successful applicant will enhance their skills and attributes by:

Attending continuing professional development training
Study additional swimming courses such as parent & baby and water polo.
Attend monthly swimming teacher meetings
Safeguarding courses
Having the ability to show experience in working within a team environment and also being able to demonstrate the capability of working on your own initiative will be advantages.

Good communication skills in English are essential and Welsh desirable, along with a friendly positive attitude.

Applicants will be required to attend a formal interview and may be required to attend a practical assessment.
