Job Description:
We are currently recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming day care nursery in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and child development.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children aged 0–5 in their daily routines and learning
Assisting with activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development
Ensuring a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
Working closely with the nursery team and parents
Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
Experience working with young children (nursery or early years setting)
A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
A positive, nurturing attitude and strong communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
