Teaching Assistant – Glastonbury

Salary: £14.66–£16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Support Assistant's to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Glastonbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education and making a difference in young people’s lives.
About the Role:
Supporting students in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND experience is a plus)
✅ Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based or other settings)
A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A valid Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK
Ideal for:

Psychology or education graduates
Experienced TAs or those looking to start a career in education
