Job title: Subject Matter Expert in ConstructionLocation: RemoteContract: Project-based (Flexible hours) Salary: £44749 - £47467 pro rataAbout the role as a Subject Matter Expert in Construction:As a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll play a key role in designing engaging, high-quality online learning experiences for students pursuing careers in construction and the built environment by planning and designing modules, developing or advising on digital learning materials and assessments, embedding contemporary industry practices, such as modern methods of construction, BIM, sustainability, and digital communication tools - into the curriculum, and ensuring alignment with educational quality standards and learner outcomes.You will lead the planning and design of our digital programmes, working with a dynamic team to ensure the curriculum is current, relevant, and supports learner success, aligned with industry needs, enriched with digital tools, and aspirational, inclusive, and career focused.Key modules will include specialised units such as:Building Information Modelling (BIM) - including AutoCAD, RevitTendering & ProcurementRefurbishment Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)Alternative energyConstruction Finance & Cost ManagementWhilst these roles are offered on a part time basis, there is a high degree of flexibility available around the working pattern. You can expect to work the equivalent of 2- 3 days per week/number of hours per week and fixed term until March 2026. We will collaborate with you to establish a working schedule that aligns with both your requirements and the project's objectives. We would also consider applications from individuals wishing to work for us on a consultancy basis.
