Summary
Van Driver/ Relief HGV Driver
In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
• You will be required to make multi drop deliveries to our customers in a transit van. When not driving you will also be expected to:
• Assist customers.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Pick and check orders.
• Store stock safely.
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
• Covering the driving of the HGV vehicles as required
• This role will require working alternate Saturday mornings.
• You will also be covering in the yard as and when required.
Qualifications and Skills
• A Full UK Licence is essential.
• Building industry knowledge would be an advantage.
• A Class 2 and a full CPC Licence is preferred, training can be provided for the right candidate.
• HIAB (Crane) experience would be preferred for this role; however training can be given.
You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that:
• Has the likeability factor
• Has excellent customer service
• Hard working
• Positive attitude
• Good attention to detail.
