Drivers Mate - White Goods & Furniture Delivery
Based in Weybridge | £13.85 - £14.23 per hour | Start Times: 6:00am or 10:30am | 4 Days Out of 6 (No Sundays)
We are recruiting Drivers Mates on behalf of a prestigious luxury department store, assisting with the delivery and installation of various white goods and premium furniture into customers' homes and commercial spaces.
This role involves handling large, high-value items and dealing directly with high-class clientele, so professionalism, discretion, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assisting the driver with loading and unloading white goods and furniture
-Delivering and installing items such as fridges, washing machines, sofas, tables, and other household products
-Handling goods with exceptional care to maintain pristine condition
-Providing a first-class delivery experience for high-profile customers
-Helping with navigation and ensuring smooth delivery schedules
What We're Looking For:
-Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
-Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
-Well-presented with excellent communication skills
-Discreet and professional when dealing with high-end clients
-Must live locally to Weybridge or have your own transport to get to the depot
-Flexible to work 4 days out of 6 (Monday to Saturday) - no Sundays
-Previous Drivers Mate or delivery experience preferred (experience with white goods/furniture an advantage)
Shift & Pay Details:
Start Times: 6:00am (£13.85 per hour) or 10:30am (£14.23 per hour)
Overtime: After 41 hours, paid at £18.67 per hour
Finish: Job till finish (hours vary depending on routes)
Schedule: 4 out of 6 days per week (Mon-Sat), must be flexible
