Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager for the Assessments team at the PO8 level. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our assessment services, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong leader who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, management, and external partners, to optimize processes and deliver excellent service outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in service management, possess exceptional organizational skills, and be adept at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the assessments function, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
Lead the assessment services team to achieve operational objectives.
Develop and implement service policies and procedures that enhance efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate service delivery frameworks to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address service improvement opportunities.
Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering their professional development.
Analyze performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and improvements.
Manage budgets related to assessment services and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
Proven experience in service management or a similar role within an organizational context.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
Solid analytical skills for performance metrics assessment and strategic planning.
Experience in developing and implementing service improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of assessment methodologies and best practices in service delivery.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
