Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a reputable and well-established law firm renowned for delivering tailored legal solutions. You’ll handle a varied caseload of wills, probate, and estate matters, providing expert advice with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Draft wills, lasting powers of attorney, and associated documentation
Guide clients through the full probate and estate administration process
Advise on inheritance tax and asset protection strategies
Prepare and submit probate and letters of administration applications
Support executors and beneficiaries in their legal duties
Liaise with HMRC, financial bodies, and other external professionals
Maintain accurate digital case management records
Contribute to departmental growth and client relationship building
About You
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in private client law (wills, probate, estate administration)
Proven ability to manage files independently
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent client care and communication skills
Desirable:
STEP qualification (or working towards it)
Experience with trusts and tax-efficient estate planning
Familiarity with digital probate applications and case management systems
