If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly team at Nova Training as a Teaching Learning & Assessment Manager.

The Teaching Learning & Assessment Manager will support and maintain the delivery of high-quality apprenticeship training which results in the achievement of company KPI’s across the Apprenticeship programme and ensuring a high level of learner and employer satisfaction.

In this pivotal role, you will drive organisational success through effective leadership and innovation, enhancing the student experience at every level.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, improve and manage quality assurance and improvement processes across all sites to ensure all policies, procedures and all areas of learning are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the learners.
Carry out a schedule of deep dives, internal inspections and audits across all sites.
Work holistically with staff across all programmes to ensure existing provision is of high quality.
Identify areas for improvements in the learner journey throughout the organisation.
Ensure changes to Government policies / Safeguarding / Prevent / Child Protection / Ofsted are effectively communicated to all staff and where necessary internal policies and procedures reviewed, revised and implemented.
Ensure the Quality Improvement Plan and subsequent quality processes are robust and updated regularly in line with the quality cycle.

In liaison with HR update policies on a three yearly cycle or as and when required with relevant key staff.
Review and update all company processes on an annual basis or sooner if required.
Review all aspects of the learner journey. Summarise findings periodically to the Board, highlight good practice and areas for development alongside suggested improvement actions for agreement.
Support all aspects of safeguarding, Prevent and child protection ensuring that they remain high profile across Nova and that learners are safe.
Work within the company H&S policy and alongside the H&S manager to implement policies and standards effectively.

Qualifications & Training:

Minimum level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
Degree level qualification or equivalent.
A full teaching qualification.
Level 5 management qualification (Desirable)

Requirements:

Experience of GCSE retake provision and curriculum. (desirable)
Experience of undertaking the role of Nominee during an Ofsted Inspection. (desirable)
Knowledge and experience of internal and external assessment, standardisation and verification processes.
Detailed knowledge and experience of current curriculum developments across SEN education,and particularly associated with Maths, English and employability.
Detailed understanding of the EiF and overall expectations of Ofsted.
Experience of high-quality learning, teaching and assessment to at least level 3.
Understanding of ESFA funded programmes with a particular focus on 16-18 Study Programmes,Traineeships and Provision for Learners with High Needs. All age Apprenticeships.
