Summary

SEN Primary Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Hindley)

Location: Hindley
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Ongoing, via agency

We are working on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Hindley who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This role will be on a 1:1 basis, supporting a non-verbal autistic child in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and confident in using strategies to support communication and engagement. Experience with visual timetables is essential, while knowledge of Makaton is highly desirable (but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the child's learning, emotional regulation and social interaction

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with Autism in a primary setting
