Summary

HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead who is CIPD Level 5 or equivalent with a solid generalist Human Resources background required to join a well-established housing association based Ealing, West London.

This is known within the organisation as a People Programme and Projects Lead


SALARY: £47,464 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Ealing (W5) and the remaining time from home

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead who is CIPD Level 5 or equivalent with a solid generalist Human Resources background.

Working as the HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead you will join a dedicated Human Resources / People Services department. The People Services Programme & Project Lead supports the People Services Leadership Team to deliver the organisations People Strategy.

As the HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead you will combine strong HR generalist expertise with project management skills to ensure the effective delivery of HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle.


DUTIES

Your duties as a HR Projects Manager / People Programme and Projects Lead will include:

Programme Management

• Oversee and coordinate the People Services programme of work, setting priorities, sequencing projects, and identifying interdependencies

• Monitor programme performance, ensuring progress through governance and alignment with the People Strategy

• Facilitate benefits realisation and ensure continuous improvement through lessons learned

Project Management

• Lead, manage, and deliver people related projects, including cyclical initiatives, applying appropriate methodologies and frameworks

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with project sponsors

• Ensure HR projects are legally compliant with UK employment law and aligned with best HR practice

• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place

• Develop robust business cases with Project Sponsor(s), including requirements, costs, benefits, risks, and issues

• Work within governance and reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate updates for sponsors and stakeholders. Including but not limited to PS Delivery Group meetings used to actively update key stakeholders on progress, challenges and to gain decisions & direction

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Build strong relationships across People Services, the wider organisation, and external partners

• Act as the primary point of contact for people project stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating decision-making

• Coordinate and deliver communications plans in line with departmental and corporate standards

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in peer reviews and share best practice across the People Services function

• Promote innovation and future-focused approaches to support the delivery of strategic people outcomes


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Math’s and English (Grades A*- C)

• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)

• Proven HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle (e.g. employee relations, resourcing, reward, learning & development, policy development)

• Proven experience of delivering HR-specific projects in corporate environments

• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice

• Knowledge of project methodologies, tools, and frameworks

• Experience supporting and influencing senior managers

• Proficiency in data management, analysis, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office
