Summary
Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to support students in a dynamic secondary school environment? Hays Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Preston to recruit a dedicated TA to start ASAP. This role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
You will be supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role involves working closely with the school SENCO, providing tailored support and regularly reporting on student progress throughout the academic year. You'll play a vital role in helping students access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting, particularly those with SEND
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCO
