Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Birkenhead area. The school is seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant to support their after -school provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for part-time hours in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Your new role
* Running the school's after-school club, supporting children in a safe and fun setting
* Planning and delivering engaging activities for pupils aged 4-11
* Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children during club hours
* Working closely with school staff to maintain a positive and inclusive environment
What you'll need to succeed
* Ideally hold a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Paediatric first aid training is highly desirable
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children's development
